Job summary

MAA is hiring an Apartment Maintenance Technician at MAA Ayrsley in North Carolina. You will perform general maintenance and repairs to ensure apartment homes and facilities stay in top condition, with HVAC troubleshooting and preventive maintenance on a regular schedule.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in multifamily property management, facility maintenance, and/or mechanical repair.
• HVAC experience required.
• EPA Type II or EPA Universal certification at hire or within 90 days of start date.
• Valid driver’s license from resident state.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repair to keep apartment homes and facilities in good working order.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair HVAC units, electrical appliances, outlets and light fixtures.
• Handle plumbing, carpentry and lock repairs.
• Follow preventative maintenance schedules and complete resident follow-ups after repairs.
