InterSolutions is seeking dependable maintenance professionals to join our growing team as an Apartment Maintenance Technician in Seattle. You will handle service requests, perform repairs, and keep communities running smoothly under supervision.

Candidates should have basic maintenance knowledge, prior apartment experience, ability to lift 40 pounds, and strong communication. HVAC certification is a plus and weekend availability may be required.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of maintenance repair across multiple areas.
• Previous apartment maintenance experience.
• HVAC certification is a plus.
• Capable of lifting up to 40 pounds and using ladders safely.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work weekends as required.

Responsibilities

• Complete service tickets and work orders efficiently and accurately.
• Prepare vacant apartments for new tenants and manage turnover.
• Keep grounds and common areas clean and debris-free.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to residents.
• Repair electrical circuits, switches, and breakers.
• Service and install light fixtures and appliances.
• Fix toilets, sinks, vanities, disposals, and caulking.
• Handle minor carpentry and drywall repairs.
• Paint and repair as needed.
• Remove bulk trash and clear drains/sewer lines as required.

As an Apartment Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for handling service requests and maintaining the community's overall functionality under the direction of the maintenance supervisor or property manager.

Primary Responsibilities Include:

Complete service tickets and work orders efficiently and accurately

Prepare vacant apartments for new by managing the turnover process

Keep grounds and common areas clean and free of debris

Deliver exceptional customer service to

Repair Tasks:

• Repairing electrical circuits, switches, and breakers
• Servicing and installing light fixtures and appliances (stoves, refrigerators, washers, dryers)
• Fixing and replacing toilets, sinks, vanities, disposals, and caulking
• Handling minor carpentry repairs, including doors, window screens, and blinds
• Painting and drywall repair as needed
• Removing bulk trash, including discarded appliances
• Clearing drains and sewer lines (up to 4')
