The ideal candidate has 2+ years in apartment maintenance, strong HVAC/plumbing/electrical skills, and experience with property management software. A proactive, team-oriented mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical training or certifications in HVAC, plumbing, or electrical preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of apartment maintenance or related field experience.
• Proficient with hand and power tools; HVAC, plumbing, electrical and general maintenance skills.
• Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, and team collaboration.
• Experience with smart devices and property management software a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry and appliance repairs.
• Close work orders within 24 hours and manage inventory of supplies.
• Prepare vacant units for new residents through painting, cleaning and repairs.
• Respond to emergency after-hours maintenance and weekend on-call rotations.
• Conduct preventive maintenance for HVAC, plumbing, electrical and safety systems.
• Maintain safety and PPE, records, and professional interactions with residents and vendors.
