Community Housing Partners (CHP) is seeking an Apartment Maintenance Technician I at Meadowview Apartments in Pulaski, VA. The role focuses on general apartment repairs, preventive maintenance, and preparing units for new residents, with a Monday–Friday schedule and occasional on-call coverage.

You will troubleshoot HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and appliance issues, document work, and contribute to a safe, well-maintained community.

Competenze

• At least 1 year of hands-on maintenance or repair experience (apartment, facilities, hotel, or similar).
• Basic experience with plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, appliances, or general building repairs.
• Ability to troubleshoot common maintenance issues and use basic hand and power tools safely.
• Good communication and customer service skills.

Mansioni

• Handle general apartment repairs including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and appliance maintenance within your skill level.
• Respond to resident work orders and troubleshoot maintenance issues.
• Help prepare vacant apartments for new residents.
• Complete preventive maintenance and property inspections.
• Maintain clean, safe, and well-functioning buildings and common areas.
• Document completed work using maintenance software.
