The Inland Real Estate Group of Companies seeks a Maintenance Technician for The Cottages at Old Monrovia in Huntsville, AL. You will perform general repairs, prepare vacant units, and maintain common areas to ensure a safe living environment for residents, visitors, and staff.

Expect 40+ hours weekly with possible evenings and weekends. HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, and electrical skills are required, as well as tool ownership and reliable transportation.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in property maintenance or similar fieldwork.
• Hands-on experience with plumbing, carpentry, electrical, HVAC systems.
• Familiar with landscaping and cleaning.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and use tools independently.

Aufgaben

• Address resident service and maintenance requests promptly.
• Communicate status of service requests to residents and staff.
• Maintain property condition and correct unsafe conditions immediately.
• Keep accurate records of preventive maintenance, work orders, and make-ready status.
• Complete make-ready repairs on schedule and manage grounds upkeep.
