Job summary

The Maintenance Technician will perform general repairs across apartments and common areas and ensure a safe living environment for residents and staff. Responsibilities include responding to service requests, completing preventive maintenance, and coordinating with vendors.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of maintenance experience in property or related field.
• Hands-on experience with basic plumbing, carpentry, electrical, HVAC systems.
• Must furnish own tools and have transport for parts.
• HVAC/CFC-EPA certifications preferred.
• CAMT certification preferred.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work at heights as needed.

Responsibilities

• Address resident maintenance requests promptly.
• Communicate status of service requests to residents and staff.
• Maintain property and correct unsafe conditions.
• Keep records of preventive maintenance and work orders.
• Complete make-ready repairs on schedule.
• Perform grounds upkeep when required.
• Handle deliveries and move furnishings as needed.
