Job summary

LyvWell Apartments is seeking a maintenance technician to service The George complex at 434 Minna Street, San Francisco. You will perform HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, painting, electrical, and machinery maintenance while delivering excellent customer service in a team environment.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years in commercial or multi-unit residential properties, a HS diploma/GED, and relevant certifications. Weekend shifts may be required, and a driver’s license may be needed.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in Commercial Property or Multi-Unit Residential Property.
• High School Diploma or GED; additional experience can offset education.
• HVAC, Electrical or Plumbing certifications preferred.
• May require a valid driver’s license depending on property needs.
• Strong communication, teamwork and customer service skills.
• Weekend work may be required.
• English proficiency; multilingual skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• HVAC repairs, cleaning, replacement and basic maintenance.
• Plumbing repairs, part replacement, and fixture installations.
• Carpentry tasks including doors, shelves and countertops.
• Painting and drywall/plaster repairs as needed.
• Electrical work, lighting, wiring and appliance maintenance.
• Maintain machinery such as pumps, belts and fans.
• Provide exceptional customer service and teamwork.
