Job summary

LyvWell Apartments is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Village on Memorial, Houston. You will perform HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, painting, electrical, and machinery maintenance while delivering excellent resident service.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in similar property roles, a HS diploma or GED, and may hold HVAC/Electrical/Plumbing certifications. Weekend work or licensing requirements may apply depending on property needs.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in Commercial Property or Multi-Unit Residential Property.
• High School Diploma or GED; 3–4 years experience can offset minimum educational requirements.
• HVAC, Electrical, or Plumbing certifications preferred.
• Valid driver’s license may be required depending on property needs.
• Must communicate clearly in English, both written and spoken; multilingual a plus.

Responsibilities

• HVAC repairs, cleans, and replaces components as needed.
• Plumbing repairs and part replacement; install sinks, toilets, faucets, etc.
• Carpentry tasks: repair/install doors, shelves, countertops, locks, etc.
• Painting: drywall/plaster repairs and general painting.
• Electrical/Appliance: lighting, wiring, power circuits, switches, lamps, etc.
• Maintain machinery: chillers, belts, pumps, fans, etc.
• Provide exceptional customer service; assist residents and team.
• Other duties as assigned.
