Job summary

Essential Staffing Solutions (ESS) is seeking reliable Apartment Maintenance Technicians with strong HVAC experience to support multifamily communities. This multifamily maintenance role requires handling HVAC systems as well as general unit turns and make-readies.

Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing HVAC systems, completing resident work orders, and assisting with renovations. EPA certification and 1+ year experience are required. Weekly pay and temp-to-hire potential are offered.

Qualifications

• EPA Universal Certification is required without exceptions.
• Minimum 1 year of hands-on apartment or multifamily maintenance experience.
• Must own personal tools and HVAC gauges.
• Strong HVAC troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance skills.
• Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, appliances, and unit make-ready processes.
• Ability to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems in occupied and vacant units
• Prepare units for new residents (make-ready/punch process)
• Complete resident work orders efficiently and professionally
• Repair major appliances such as refrigerators, stoves, and dishwashers
• Perform basic electrical and plumbing repairs

is seeking reliable, hardworking, and self-motivated Apartment Maintenance Technicians with strong HVAC experience to support multifamily apartment communities.

Job Description:

This is a multifamily apartment maintenance role, not an HVAC-only position. The Apartment Maintenance Technician (HVAC Focus) is responsible for maintaining HVAC systems and performing general apartment maintenance duties, including work orders, unit turns, and make-readies.
