Job summary

Essential Staffing Solutions (ESS) is seeking reliable Apartment Maintenance Technicians with strong HVAC experience to support multifamily communities. This multifamily maintenance role covers HVAC as well as general upkeep, making-readies, and addressing work orders.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting HVAC systems in occupied units, preparing units for new residents, repairing appliances, and performing basic electrical/plumbing tasks while maintaining curb appeal and supporting upgrade

Qualifications

• EPA Universal Certification required.
• Minimum 1 year of hands-on apartment/multifamily maintenance experience.
• Must own personal tools and HVAC gauges.
• Ability to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems in occupied and vacant units.
• Prepare units for new residents (make-ready/punch).
• Complete resident work orders efficiently and professionally.
• Repair major appliances such as refrigerators, stoves and dishwashers.
• Perform basic electrical and plumbing repairs.
• Maintain community curb appeal and cleanliness.
• Assist with renovation or property upgrade projects as needed.

is seeking reliable, hardworking, and self-motivated Apartment Maintenance Technicians with strong HVAC experience to support multifamily apartment communities.

Job Description:

This is a multifamily apartment maintenance role, not an HVAC-only position. The Apartment Maintenance Technician (HVAC Focus) is responsible for maintaining HVAC systems and performing general apartment maintenance duties, including work orders, unit turns, and make-readies.

• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems in occupied and vacant units

• Complete resident work orders efficiently and professionally
• Repair major appliances such as refrigerators, stoves, and dishwashers
