Job summary

Essential Staffing Solutions (ESS) is seeking reliable Apartment Maintenance Technicians with strong HVAC experience to support multifamily communities. This multifamily maintenance role combines HVAC work with general apartment maintenance duties, including work orders, unit turns, and make-readies.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting HVAC in occupied units, preparing units for new residents, completing work orders, repairing appliances, and assisting with renovations.

Qualifications

• EPA Universal Certification is required.
• At least 1 year of hands-on multifamily maintenance experience.
• Must own personal tools and HVAC gauges.
• Strong HVAC troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance skills.
• Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, appliances, and unit make-ready processes.
• Ability to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems in occupied and vacant units.
• Prepare units for new residents (make-ready/punch process).
• Complete resident work orders efficiently and professionally.
• Repair major appliances such as refrigerators, stoves, and dishwashers.
• Perform basic electrical and plumbing repairs.

is seeking reliable, hardworking, and self-motivated Apartment Maintenance Technicians with strong HVAC experience to support multifamily apartment communities.

Job Description:

This is a multifamily apartment maintenance role, not an HVAC-only position. The Apartment Maintenance Technician (HVAC Focus) is responsible for maintaining HVAC systems and performing general apartment maintenance duties, including work orders, unit turns, and make-readies.
