Job summary

Essential Staffing Solutions, LLC is seeking an Apartment Maintenance Technician (HVAC Focus) to support multifamily communities with HVAC and general maintenance duties. This is a multifamily maintenance role, not HVAC-only, handling work orders, unit turns and make-readies, in occupied or vacant units.

The ideal candidate should have EPA Universal Certification, 1 year of on-site apartment maintenance experience, own tools including HVAC gauges, and strong troubleshooting skills.

Qualifications

• EPA Universal Certification is required without exceptions.
• Minimum 1 year of hands-on apartment or multifamily maintenance experience.
• Must own personal tools and HVAC gauges.
• Strong HVAC troubleshooting, repair and maintenance skills.
• Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, appliances and unit make-ready processes.
• Ability to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems in occupied and vacant units.
• Prepare units for new residents (make-ready/punch process).
• Complete resident work orders efficiently and professionally.
• Repair major appliances such as refrigerators, stoves, and dishwashers.
• Perform basic electrical and plumbing repairs.
• Maintain community curb appeal and cleanliness.
• Assist with renovation or property upgrade projects as needed.

Job Description
