Vitalia Apartments in Palm Desert, CA is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure operational excellence and curb appeal of the apartment community. You will perform preventative maintenance, handle resident service requests, oversee turnovers, and support the maintenance team in all aspects of property management maintenance to include upkeep and repairs.

The role requires 1–2 years in apartment maintenance with plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance repair skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years hands-on experience in apartment maintenance or equivalent
• Proficiency with plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliance repair and carpentry

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems and appliances
• Respond to resident service requests promptly and professionally
• Oversee unit turnovers, inspections, repairs and cleaning for move-in readiness
• Maintain curb appeal through landscaping and exterior maintenance
• Collaborate with technicians, contractors and management team
• Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies
• Adhere to safety regulations and operating standards
• Additional duties as needed
