PMC Property Group (PMC) is an owner, operator, and developer of primarily multifamily real estate headquartered in Philadelphia, PA. PMC’s rapidly growing portfolio is located in secondary and tertiary urban markets along the east coast. PMC is currently seeking a Maintenance Technician for its Richmond portfolio.
Facilities Operations Technician Responsibilities and Duties:
- Maintain good working conditions of all buildings and properties within the portfolio.
- Perform general repairs according to routine maintenance schedules or projects.
- Complete all repair work indicated by the Property Management Staff.
- Monitor maintenance supply inventory and notify Property Management Staff of supply needs in a timely manner.
- Prepare vacant units by completing maintenance tasks before new tenants move in.
- Maintain and organize records of maintenance requests and work orders from start to finish.
- Perform maintenance-related duties as requested by the Property Management Staff.
- Provide maintenance updates to Property Management Staff regarding ongoing work.
- Complete maintenance requests submitted through the work order system.
- Perform deep cleaning tasks such as carpet cleaning, window washing, and exterior power washing.
- Ensure cleanliness of common areas including lobbies, hallways, laundry rooms, and recreational facilities.
- Operate smartphone applications related to maintenance requests.
- Collect and dispose of trash properly.
- Utilize cleaning tools and equipment like mops, vacuums, and push carts.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Knowledge and experience with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, etc.
- Ability to work overtime and be on-call after hours when necessary.
- Ability to work independently with appropriate safety measures.
- Maintain a professional and cordial manner when interacting with tenants, contractors, and management.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for long periods.
- Ability to walk through and between buildings throughout the day.
- Frequent use of hands and arms.
- Ability to lift overhead with both arms.
- Lift up to 50 pounds without assistance.
- Ability to stand, walk, lift, push, bend, kneel, crouch, and climb stairs regularly.
Hours:
Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm
On-call hours are required.
