Banyan Living, LLC in the greater Cleveland area seeks an Experienced Maintenance Technician to join our property management team. You will tackle a variety of maintenance tasks, perform repairs, and conduct preventative maintenance to keep our properties safe and well-maintained.

The role requires solid knowledge of plumbing and electrical systems, hands-on repair skills, and a commitment to excellent resident service.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vacant units for new tenants by ensuring repairs are completed.
• Maintain thorough documentation of maintenance activities and track inventory.
• Work with the property management team to address and resolve maintenance issues.
• Follow safety protocols and keep a clean, organized work environment.

Banyan Living, a trusted provider of luxury apartment living in the greater Cleveland area, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our dedicated team. This vital role is crucial to maintaining our high standards of property management, ensuring that our residents enjoy a safe, comfortable, and well-maintained living environment.

As an Experienced Maintenance Technician, you will use your technical skills and expertise to tackle a variety of maintenance tasks, conduct repairs, and perform preventative maintenance across our properties.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on all building systems and equipment.
• Respond to resident maintenance requests promptly, ensuring great customer service and satisfaction.
• Complete repairs on plumbing, electrical, and appliances.
• Prepare vacant units for new tenants by ensuring repairs and maintenance tasks are performed.
• Maintain thorough documentation of maintenance activities and track supply inventory.
• Work collaboratively with the property management team to address and resolve maintenance issues efficiently.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment at all times.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications preferred.
• A minimum of 1 years of experience in maintenance or a related field.
• Solid knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, and general repair work.

• Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused mindset.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
• Physical ability to perform maintenance tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Availability for on-call duties and emergency maintenance as needed.
