Banyan Living seeks an Experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team in the greater Cleveland and Columbus areas. You will perform maintenance, repairs, and preventative tasks to keep our luxury properties in top condition.

Responsibilities include inspections, prompt response to resident requests, and repairs to plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliances. Must have 3+ years’ experience, a valid license, and be able to lift up to 50 pounds; on-call duties required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certifications preferred.
• 3+ years of maintenance or related experience.
• Solid knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, and general repair work.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and customer-focused mindset.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• On-call availability for emergencies.

• Respond to resident maintenance requests promptly and provide excellent service.

As an Experienced Maintenance Technician, you will use your technical skills and expertise to tackle a variety of maintenance tasks, conduct repairs, and perform preventative maintenance across our properties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on all building systems and equipment.
• Respond to resident maintenance requests promptly, ensuring great customer service and satisfaction.
• Complete repairs on plumbing, electrical, HVAC systems, and appliances.
• Prepare vacant units for new tenants by ensuring repairs and maintenance tasks are performed.
• Maintain thorough documentation of maintenance activities and track supply inventory.
• Work collaboratively with the property management team to address and resolve maintenance issues efficiently.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment at all times.
