Job summary

Banyan Living is seeking an Experienced Maintenance Technician to join our on-site team in the greater Cleveland area. You will perform routine inspections, handle repairs, and conduct preventative maintenance across properties to ensure safe, comfortable, well-maintained living spaces.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of maintenance experience, knowledge of plumbing/electrical/HVAC, strong troubleshooting, and a customer-focused approach.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in maintenance or related field.
• Solid knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, and general repairs.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused mindset.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Physical ability to perform maintenance tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Availability for on-call duties and emergency maintenance as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on all building systems and equipment.
• Respond to resident maintenance requests promptly, ensuring great customer service and satisfaction.
• Complete repairs on plumbing, electrical, HVAC systems, and appliances.
• Prepare vacant units for new tenants by ensuring repairs and maintenance tasks are performed.
• Maintain thorough documentation of maintenance activities and track supply inventory.
• Work collaboratively with the property management team to address and resolve maintenance issues efficiently.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment at all times.
