Position Overview

The Apartment Maintenance Technician is responsible for routine and general maintenance of facilities, buildings, and equipment, along with groundskeeping tasks. Daily duties include using power tools, completing unit turns, troubleshooting appliances, and providing excellent customer service to residents and staff. The role involves acting as a Redwood ambassador, ensuring positive experiences for residents.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain and repair facilities, buildings, grounds via work orders
  • Prepare vacated apartments for new residents
  • Perform minor plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, drywall tasks
  • Handle plumbing repairs, appliance servicing, emergency maintenance, snow removal
  • Follow safety standards at all times
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
  • 1 year of maintenance experience
  • Valid driver’s license
  • High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
  • HVAC Certification
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Apartment maintenance experience
  • Proficiency with smartphones, tablets, and computers
Physical Requirements
  • Lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to sit, stand, bend, and walk
