Position Overview

Each Redwood Neighborhood employs an Apartment Maintenance Technician responsible for routine maintenance, groundskeeping, and customer service. Daily tasks include using power tools, completing unit turns, troubleshooting appliances, and interacting positively with residents and staff.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair facilities, buildings, and grounds via work orders
• Prepare vacated apartments for new residents
• Perform minor plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and drywall repairs
• Handle minor plumbing repairs, appliance servicing, and emergency maintenance
• Follow safety standards and participate in snow removal
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• At least 1 year of maintenance experience
• Valid driver’s license
• High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

• HVAC Certification
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Apartment maintenance experience
• Proficiency with smartphones, tablets, and computers

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and sit, stand, bend, walk as needed
