Bartsch Management is growing and looking to add to our maintenance team!

Under the direction of the maintenance supervisor, maintain the day-to-day operations and assume responsibility for maintaining the physical assets of the property.

Summary of Functions
  1. Responsible for completing all maintenance service requests as assigned.
  2. Complete the make-ready process of vacant apartments as directed by the Property Manager.
  3. Work within expense limits established.
  4. Maintain inventory controls for cost-effective operations.
  5. Schedule and complete the "Preventative Maintenance Program."
  6. Coordinate special projects as directed by the Property Manager.
  7. Assist in monitoring all work performed by outside contractors.
  8. Responsible for 24-hour emergency maintenance service as scheduled.
  9. Carry pager/cell phone as required for on-call maintenance.
  10. Monitor and maintain all building systems as assigned.
  11. Complete grounds work as directed by the Property Manager, including trash pickup, sweeping curb and dumpster areas, and maintaining landscaping beds.
  12. Alert the Property Manager of any unusual occurrences or damages.
  13. Complete payroll timesheets and mileage reimbursement forms and submit them as directed.
  14. Maintain a professional, courteous manner with residents, vendors, contractors, and staff.
  15. Ensure safety standards are followed in compliance with all regulations.
  16. Follow company policies and the Employee Guidebook.
  17. Basic knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, and electrical systems.

Experience
