Job summary

Birchstone-Residential is seeking a Service Technician to perform day-to-day maintenance at a Birchstone community. You will carry out regular and preventative maintenance, handle service requests, and assist with capital projects to keep the property in optimal condition.

The role requires basic maintenance experience, strong problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to work independently or with a team. On-site work and occasional emergencies are expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• Six months of maintenance experience or training.
• Experience in multi-family property maintenance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Meet with the Service Manager daily to review service requests and plan repairs.
• Execute regular and preventative maintenance per Birchstone standards.
• Complete repairs and preventative work ensuring code compliance and resident readiness.
• Identify, diagnose, and repair carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC issues as needed.
• Maintain grounds, common areas, and respond to emergencies; document all work.
