Job summary

Westdale Asset Management in Duluth, MN is seeking a Service Technician II for our 239-unit apartment community. You will perform HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliance repairs to keep residents satisfied and units ready.

The role requires at least 3 years of on-site maintenance, EPA Level II or Universal Refrigerant Certification, ability to work independently or with a team, and on-call weekends. Bilingual English/Spanish and CPO certification are a plus.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of on-site property maintenance experience.
• Must have Level II or Universal EPA Refrigerant Certification.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Work independently or with a team in a fast-paced, customer‑service environment.
• Weekends/on-call on a rotating basis for emergencies.
• CPO certification is a plus.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliances.
• Maintain, repair and upgrade building systems and fixtures.
• Address safety and quality standards for residents.
• Assist with general maintenance tasks (stairs, gates, flooring, etc.).

Rate: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour (Hourly non-exempt position)

***Monthly renewal bonuses are paid in addition to base pay.***

We are seeking a maintenance technician for our 239-unit apartment community in Duluth! Our Service Technicians complete all aspects of apartment maintenance such as HVAC, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing. As Service Technician II, you keep our residents happy knowing that their apartment and appliance repairs will be done quickly and professionally. Requirements

• At least 3years of experience in on-site property maintenance.
• Must have Level II or Universal EPA Refrigerant Certification.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Must be able to work both independently and with a team in a fast-paced, customer service-oriented environment.
• Weekends as circumstances warrant; on-call on a rotating basis for emergencies (2 weeks on and 2-4 weeks off based on staffing.)
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) a plus!
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus!

Work Days: Monday - Friday
Work Hours: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm; Weekends as circumstances warrant; on-call on a rotating basis for emergencies(2 weeks on and 2-4 weeks off based on staffing.)
Required License or Certification: Valid GA Driver's License; Must have Level II or Universal EPA Refrigerant Certification.
