Job summary

Odin Management is seeking an Apartment Maintenance Technician for our multifamily community in Detroit. You will prioritize and complete resident work orders and turnovers, using plumbing, electrical, and carpentry skills to maintain units.

This full-time role requires reliability, on-call rotations, and teamwork with the Property Manager to order parts and keep the maintenance area organized. Candidates with at least two years in maintenance and a professional appearance will fit well.

Qualifications

• Two years’ experience in a relevant maintenance field.
• Strong plumbing, electrical, and carpentry skills.
• Ability to work on call rotations.
• Maintain neat, clean, and professional work area.

Responsibilities

• Ensure work orders/turnovers are completed effectively and efficiently.
• Maintain a count of outstanding work orders and report to the Property Manager daily.
• Keep the maintenance area neat and clean.
• Work on call rotations for maintenance emergencies.
• Coordinate with the Property Manager on purchasing parts/material as needed.

The ideal candidate will have prior apartment maintenance experience and well-rounded skills such as electrical, plumbing, and carpentry.
