Job summary

Paylocity seeks an Apartment Maintenance Technician for a multifamily community. The role focuses on organizing, prioritizing, and completing resident work orders and turnovers, with a preference for candidates with HVAC certification.

You will perform HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry tasks, respond to emergencies on call, and collaborate with the Property Manager to secure parts and supplies while keeping the maintenance area neat and professional.

Qualifications

• HVAC certification preferred and relevant licenses.
• 2+ years of apartment maintenance experience or similar.
• Experience across HVAC, plumbing, electrical and carpentry.
• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Organize and complete resident work orders and turnovers.
• Maintain a clean and organized maintenance area.
• On-call rotations for maintenance emergencies.
• Coordinate with Property Manager to purchase parts/materials as needed.

Real Estate Development and Property Management company is seeking a talented, reliable Apartment Maintenance Technician (HVAC Cert Preferred) for our multifamily apartment community. The main function of the Apartment Maintenance Technician is to organize, prioritize, and complete resident work orders and turnovers. The ideal candidate will have prior apartment maintenance experience and well-rounded skills such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry.

Requirements

• Ensure work orders/turnovers are completed effectively and efficiently.
• Maintain a count of outstanding work orders and report to the Property Manager daily.
• Keep the maintenance area neat and clean.
• Work on call rotations for maintenance emergencies.
• Coordinate with the Property Manager on purchasing parts/material as needed.

Essential Skills/Abilities:

• Minimum Type 2 HVAC certification preferred.
• HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry experience.
• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle required.
• Ability to support and contribute to the team.
• Positive attitude.
• Two (2) years’ experience in previous relevant maintenance field.
• Neat, clean, and professional.
• Attendance is an imperative job function.
