Job summary

Odin Properties is seeking a reliable Apartment Maintenance Technician for our multifamily community in Dallas, TX. The role focuses on organizing, prioritizing, and completing resident work orders and turnovers with hands-on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry skills.

You will participate in on-call rotations, coordinate with the Property Manager on parts, and keep work areas neat and safe while delivering excellent resident service.

Qualifications

• Two years of maintenance experience required.
• EPA Type 2 certification is a plus.
• Experience in plumbing, electrical, and carpentry.
• Strong teamwork and positive attitude.
• Reliable and professional appearance.
• Attendance is an essential function.

Responsibilities

• Complete resident work orders and turnovers in a timely manner.
• Keep the maintenance area neat, clean and safe.
• Be available for on-call maintenance rotations.
• Coordinate with the Property Manager on purchasing parts/materials.
• Report outstanding work orders to the Property Manager daily.

About this position

Real Estate Development and Property Management company is seeking a talented, reliable Apartment Maintenance Technician for our multifamily apartment community. The main function of the Apartment Maintenance Technician is to organize, prioritize, and complete resident work orders and turnovers. The ideal candidate will have prior apartment maintenance experience and well-rounded skills such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry.

Requirements

• Ensure work orders/turnovers are completed effectively and efficiently.
• Maintain a count of outstanding work orders and report to the Property Manager daily.
• Keep the maintenance area neat and clean.
• Work on call rotations for maintenance emergencies.
• Coordinate with the Property Manager on purchasing parts/material as needed.

Essential Skills/Abilities

• Type 2 EPA certification a plus.
• Plumbing, electrical, and carpentry experience.
• Ability to support and contribute to the team.
• Positive attitude.
• Two (2) years’ experience in previous relevant maintenance field.
• Neat, clean, and professional.
• Attendance is an imperative job function.
