Job summary

Odin Properties in Cleveland, OH is seeking an Apartment Maintenance Technician to promptly handle resident work orders and turnovers across a multifamily community. You will perform HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry tasks with attention to safety and quality.

The role requires 2 years of relevant experience, EPA Type II certification (a plus), and a proactive, team-oriented approach. On-call rotations and coordination with the Property Manager for parts purchasing are part of the job.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years of relevant maintenance experience.
• Type 2 EPA certification is a plus.
• Strong team player with a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Complete resident work orders and turnovers effectively and efficiently.
• Maintain a count of outstanding work orders and report to the Property Manager daily.
• Keep the maintenance area neat and clean at all times.
• Work on-call rotations for maintenance emergencies.
• Coordinate with the Property Manager on purchasing parts/materials as needed.

About this position

Real Estate Development and Property Management company is seeking a talented, reliable Apartment Maintenance Technician for our multifamily apartment community. The main function of the Apartment Maintenance Technician is to organize, prioritize, and complete resident work orders and turnovers. The ideal candidate will have prior apartment maintenance experience and well-rounded skills such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry.

Requirements

• Ensure work orders/turnovers are completed effectively and efficiently.
• Maintain a count of outstanding work orders and report to the Property Manager daily.
• Keep the maintenance area neat and clean.
• Work on call rotations for maintenance emergencies.
• Coordinate with the Property Manager on purchasing parts/material as needed.

Essential Skills/Abilities

• Type 2 EPA certification a plus.
• Plumbing, electrical, and carpentry experience.
• Ability to support and contribute to the team.
• Positive attitude.
• Two (2) years’ experience in previous relevant maintenance field.
• Neat, clean, and professional.
• Attendance is an imperative job function.
