We seek a genuine, motivated, and driven team member to join our Apartment Living team as an Apartment Maintenance Technician.

What You'll Do

  • Complete inspections, work orders, turns, and tasks across technical areas per policies, ensuring high customer service standards.
  • Solve routine and some complex problems within technical areas and assist in others.
  • Notify the Service Manager about parts or supplies needed for work orders when inventory is low.
  • Participate in an On-Call schedule for emergency responses, documenting work as required.
  • Maintain current training and certifications as required by HHHunt.
  • Coordinate with contractors and vendors under the guidance of the Service Manager.
  • Keep accurate time sheets and communicate promptly with the Leasing Office and Service Manager regarding community or resident concerns.
  • Ensure the community and work areas are clean, neat, and safe, adhering to standards.
  • Represent the company professionally and follow dress code policies.
  • Maintain community equipment and vehicles per standards and manufacturer instructions.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent plus 2 years of experience in a related service technician role, or trade school certification with 1 year of experience.
  • EPA 608 Type I & II certification required.
  • Valid driver’s license required; CPO and CAMT certifications preferred.
  • Knowledge in HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, Appliances, Landscaping, Painting, Carpentry, or Pools.
  • Ability to use smart devices and organizational tracking systems.
  • Strong customer service skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work outdoors for extended periods in various weather conditions.
