Winterwood, Inc. is hiring a part-time Apartment Maintenance Technician in Calvert City, KY. The role focuses on day-to-day maintenance and keeping the property looking its best, with a set 25-hour work week.

Compensation includes $18.00 per hour and a $250 sign-on bonus. Benefits include a monthly cell phone reimbursement, 401(k), PTO, sick/holiday pay, and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Previous maintenance experience required; apartment/property maintenance experience preferred.
• General maintenance skills including carpentry, drywall, painting, plumbing, electrical and basic HVAC.
• Basic computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Complete maintenance work orders promptly and efficiently.
• Prepare vacant apartments for new residents with repairs, painting, cleaning and make-ready work.
• Perform general repairs including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall and painting.
• Inspect and maintain buildings and property systems.
• Complete preventative maintenance including furnace filters and unit inspections.
• Coordinate with outside contractors and vendors.
• Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies.
• Inspect property grounds and identify repairs.
• Provide emergency maintenance as required.
• Document inspections and maintenance activities.
• Notify Property Manager of unusual conditions or damages.
• Assist with special projects and other duties.

Calvert City, KY | Part-time (25 Hours/Week)

Winterwood, Inc. is hiring for the role of Apartment Maintenance Technician. The Apartment Maintenance Technician is responsible for day-to-day maintenance operations and physical appearance of the property.

What We're Looking For

• Previous maintenance experience required; apartment/property maintenance experience preferred
• Working knowledge of general maintenance, including carpentry, drywall, painting, plumbing, electrical, and basic HVAC systems
• Basic computer skills
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and climb ladders
• Ability to respond to after-hours maintenance emergencies as needed
• Willingness to complete a pre-employment drug screening and criminal background check

What You'll Do

• Complete maintenance work orders promptly and efficiently

• Perform general repairs involving plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, painting, and building systems
• Inspect and maintain assigned buildings and property systems
• Complete preventative maintenance, including furnace filter replacements and unit inspections
• Assist with coordinating outside contractors and vendors
• Maintain appropriate inventory of maintenance supplies
• Inspect property grounds and identify needed repairs
• Provide emergency maintenance services as required
• Complete daily property upkeep, including trash pickup
• Document inspections and maintenance activities
• Notify the Property Manager of unusual conditions, damages, or other concerns
• Assist with special projects and other maintenance duties as assigned
