Job summary

Winterwood, Inc. in Lebanon, KY is hiring a Property Maintenance Technician to manage day-to-day maintenance and keep the property looking its best. The role runs Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, with a $18/hr wage and a $500 sign-on bonus, plus benefits and 401(k) matching.

Candidates should have maintenance experience, carpentry, drywall, painting, plumbing and electrical knowledge, and basic HVAC familiarity. A valid driver's license and the ability to lift 50 lbs are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum maintenance experience required; apartment/property maintenance preferred.
• Knowledge of carpentry, drywall, painting, plumbing, electrical, and basic HVAC.
• Basic computer skills.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and climb ladders.
• Willingness to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Complete maintenance work orders promptly and efficiently.
• Prepare vacant apartments for new residents, including repairs, painting, cleaning, and other make-ready work.
• Perform general repairs involving plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, painting, and building systems.
• Inspect and maintain assigned buildings and property systems.
• Complete preventative maintenance, including furnace filter replacements and unit inspections.
• Assist with coordinating outside contractors and vendors.
• Maintain appropriate inventory of maintenance supplies.
• Inspect property grounds and identify needed repairs.
• Provide emergency maintenance services as required.
• Complete daily property upkeep, including trash pickup.
• Document inspections and maintenance activities.
• Notify the Property Manager of unusual conditions, damages, or other concerns.
• Assist with special projects and other maintenance duties as assigned.

Winterwood, Inc. is hiring for the role of Property Maintenance Technician. The Property Maintenance Technician is responsible for day-to-day maintenance operations and physical appearance of the property(ies).

What We're Looking For

• Previous maintenance experience required; apartment/property maintenance experience preferred
• Working knowledge of general maintenance, including carpentry, drywall, painting, plumbing, electrical, and basic HVAC systems
