Conifer Realty LLC in Atlantic City, NJ is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our affordable housing communities. You will perform routine and preventive maintenance, from painting to plumbing, to keep homes safe and welcoming for residents.

This full-time role requires 2+ years in maintenance, a high school diploma or GED, ability to lift up to 100 lbs, and willingness to cover overtime or nearby communities. Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus; we support growth with training and benefits.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of apartment/residential/facilities maintenance experience (HVAC a plus).
• High school diploma or GED.
• Lift 50 lbs regularly, up to 100 lbs occasionally.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to cover overtime/nearby communities.
• Basic computer/mobile-app skills for work orders and timekeeping.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventative maintenance (painting, drywall, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, cleaning).
• Maintain grounds and curb appeal (landscaping, snow/ice removal, seasonal upkeep).
• Respond to work orders promptly and rotate for on-call coverage (30 minutes response).
• Follow safety, property, and inspection standards with precision.
• Collaborate with peers and residents, showing empathy and pride in repairs.
