Job summary

HHHunt, Inc. is seeking an Apartment Maintenance Technician for Abberly Waterstone in Virginia. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, and related systems while delivering exceptional customer service to residents.

You must be organized, able to work outdoors in varying conditions, and coordinate with the Service Manager and Leasing Office. On-call duties and ongoing training are required to keep certifications current.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with 2 years in service tech or related field, or trade school HVAC/plumbing/electricity.
• EPA 608 Type I & II certification required.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Experience in HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, Appliances, Landscaping, Painting, Carpentry, and Swimming Pools.
• Ability to use a smart device and computer with tracking systems.
• Proven ability to deliver high levels of customer service.

Responsibilities

• Complete inspections, work orders, turns and tasks in four technical areas with strong customer service.
• Solve routine and some moderately complex problems in four technical areas.
• Notify Service Manager when parts or supplies are low.
• Participate in an On-Call schedule for emergencies.
• Maintain required training classes and certifications.
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors as directed.
• Maintain time sheets under company policy.
• Communicate with Leasing Office and Service Manager about charges or deficiencies.
• Keep community and work areas clean, neat and safe for residents and staff.
• Represent the company professionally and adhere to dress codes.
• Maintain community equipment and vehicles per policy and manufacturer standards.
