Job summary

Windsor Communities seeks a Service Technician II for New Acquisition at Windsor Kennesaw in Kennesaw, GA. You will perform routine maintenance across plumbing, electrical, painting, carpentry, and appliance repairs to uphold property curb appeal and safety.

You will handle work orders via Yardi, prep units for new residents, and participate in after-hours emergency repairs. A strong team player with good communication is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; technical training preferred.

Responsibilities

• General Maintenance: perform plumbing, electrical, painting, carpentry and appliance repairs.
• Work Orders: close out within 24 hours using Yardi.
• Unit Turnover: prepare vacants for new residents (paint, clean, repairs).
• Emergency On-Call Repairs: respond to after-hours calls; weekend work required.
• Preventive Maintenance: inspect HVAC, plumbing, electrical, Fire & Life Safety systems.
• Safety and Compliance: maintain safe work area with PPE.
• Inventory Management: track supplies and request replacements.
• Record Keeping: document maintenance activities and rounds on devices.
• Customer Service: interact professionally with residents and contractors.
• Team Collaboration: coordinate with property management to resolve issues.
