Job summary

The Westover Companies is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our apartment community in Middle River, MD. You will perform routine and preventative maintenance on units and common areas, diagnose HVAC, electrical and plumbing issues, and complete work orders efficiently.

You must have practical building trades experience, be able to lift heavy items, use standard tools, and participate in on-call rotations. A strong, safety‑minded team player is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience diagnosing and repairing HVAC, electrical and plumbing issues.
• Ability to use standard hand and power tools safely.
• Ability to lift heavy items and work from ladders as required.
• Knowledge of building trade skills and preventative maintenance practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks and preventative maintenance on units and common areas.
• Complete work orders in a timely manner and document results.
• Diagnose and repair HVAC, electrical and plumbing issues.
• Share on-call responsibilities as required.
• Maintain clean and safe work environment and logs.
