Job summary

Village Green has an immediate Maintenance Technician position available in Kalamazoo. The Maintenance Technician will complete work orders and special projects, with responsibilities covering HVAC, plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, and appliance repairs.

Qualifying candidates should have 1–3 years in hotel or multifamily housing, strong customer service, basic computer skills, and on-call and weekend availability.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years' experience in hotel or multifamily housing preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills and basic computer knowledge.
• Strong experience with plumbing, electrical, appliances, and painting.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders and special projects in a timely manner.
• Perform plumbing, electrical, and appliance repairs and painting as needed.
• Assist in maintaining exterior curb appeal and complete snow removal during winter months.
• Respond to on-call emergencies as directed by the Property Manager and Service Manager.
• Provide friendly, customer-focused service to residents.
