Job summary

BeMore Staffing in Frederick, MD is seeking a Certified Apartment Maintenance Technician for a temp-to-perm role at a residential community. You will perform electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and general upkeep to maintain property standards and resident satisfaction.

Responsibilities include preparing units for move-ins, completing preventive maintenance, addressing service requests, and supporting various projects with a focus on safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• 6 months of hands-on apartment/property maintenance experience
• Unit make-ready and residential repair experience
• HVAC experience and EPA certification preferred
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Must provide own basic maintenance tools
• 1–2 years in Apartment Maintenance and/or Property Maintenance

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical repairs, plumbing fixes, appliance servicing, carpentry, masonry, and painting
• Maintain and repair showers, sinks, doors, cabinets, walls, and exterior components
• Provide courteous, professional service to residents and teams
• Respond to service requests and maintenance tickets promptly
• Prepare rental units for move-ins with make-ready tasks and quality checks
• Implement annual preventative maintenance programs
• Conduct routine grounds maintenance including debris removal and light landscaping
• Support special projects as directed by management
