Job summary

Berger Communities is seeking a Maintenance Technician for Willowdale Crossing Apartments in Frederick, MD. You will perform apartment maintenance, repairs, and preventive tasks to ensure a well-kept community that feels like home.

The role requires at least two years of maintenance experience or training, with a High School diploma or GED. A trade school background is a plus, and the schedule is Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Two years maintenance experience and/or training.
• High School or GED required, Trade School or Industry Training is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Handle service requests and repairs in apartments and buildings.
• Get empty homes move-in ready.
• Keep grounds, amenities, and common areas looking great.
• Perform preventive maintenance and inspections.
• Assist with snow removal and on-call shifts.
• Create a great resident experience with friendly, professional service.
