Carteret Management Corporation is seeking a Maintenance Personnel to perform routine building maintenance at a newer apartment community in downtown Jacksonville. This full-time role offers a competitive salary with a strong benefits package including PTO, low-premium health plans, disability coverage, and a company-paid 401K match.

You will handle HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, painting, and apartment turnovers, ensuring resident satisfaction, safety, and high standards.

Formación

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Prior maintenance experience.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry and HVAC.
• Ability to multitask with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to safely use various hand tools and power tools such as hammers, screwdrivers, drills and circular saws.
• Ability to perform general janitorial duties.
• Proficiency with computers (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to work cooperatively with on-site staff and vendors.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure the highest level of resident satisfaction at all times.
• Ensure safety, appearance and operational standards established by Carteret Management and the Maintenance Supervisor/Property Manager.
• Perform hands-on maintenance duties to maintain and enhance community value (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, painting, exterior structure, appliance repair, cleaning).
• Perform turnover of apartments including cleaning, painting, carpet shampooing, and other repairs as directed.
• Occasionally be available for After Hours emergency calls.
