Job summary

Carteret Management Corporation is seeking Maintenance Personnel responsible for performing routine building maintenance for an apartment community. This full-time position offers a competitive salary with a strong benefits package.

Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, painting and appliance issues, performing turnover work on apartments, and responding to after-hours calls as needed.

Qualifications

• Prior maintenance experience.
• Customer service skills.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry and HVAC.
• Ability to multitask with attention to detail.
• Ability to safely use hand and power tools.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the apartment community to high safety and appearance standards.
• Diagnose and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall and painting issues.
• Perform apartment turnovers including cleaning and painting.
• Assist with exterior maintenance and general repairs as directed.
• Respond to after-hours emergency calls as needed.
