Penn Apartment Staffing is seeking experienced apartment Maintenance Technicians with proficient repairs and installation skills in Austin, Dallas, Fort Worth, Houston, San Antonio and surrounding areas.

The Maintenance Technician prepares vacant apartments for move-in and coordinates with management to restore vacated units to market-ready status promptly, using strong electrical, painting and customer-service skills.

Qualifications

• The Maintenance Technician handles a range of repairs and installations.
• Ideal candidate has strong electrical skills and customer service abilities.
• Leadership experience is desired to supervise others.
• Experience with painting and general facilities maintenance is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of residential units to identify necessary repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Perform electrical repairs and maintenance, including troubleshooting.
• Oversee the completion of make-ready tasks such as painting, drywall repair, and cleaning.
• Read and interpret schematics to assist in repairs and installations.
• Supervise and coordinate work with other maintenance staff or contractors when required.
• Provide exceptional customer service during the make-ready process, addressing concerns.
• Maintain records of work and materials used for each unit.
• Ensure safety standards and regulations are followed.
