Job summary

Apartner seeks an experienced Apartment Community Maintenance Supervisor in Jacksonville, FL to oversee maintenance requests, supervise the team, and prepare market-ready units. You will troubleshoot electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry issues, manage vendor relationships, and ensure safety compliance in a fast-paced environment.

Candidates should have at least 2 years of supervisory maintenance experience, strong leadership skills, a valid driver’s license, and a willingness to mentor

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Property Maintenance Supervisor.
• HVAC/EPA Certification preferred.
• Prior experience in apartment maintenance or property management.
• Strong working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC systems.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to mentor and motivate team members.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate all maintenance service requests and repairs.
• Supervise, train, and support the maintenance team to ensure timely completion of work orders.
• Prepare market-ready units, including trash removal from vacant apartments.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, carpentry, electrical, and plumbing issues, including appliance repair.
• Maintain all common areas, amenities, and building exteriors to a high standard.
• Manage inventory, equipment, supplies, and vendor relationships.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
• Participate in on-call rotation for emergency maintenance requests.
