Job summary

Advanced Management Company is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor in Los Angeles to oversee on-site maintenance, coordinate trades, and ensure timely repairs for apartment communities. The role emphasizes urgency, high-quality workmanship, and customer service while coordinating with residents, vendors, and staff.

The ideal candidate will manage plumbing, electrical, painting, HVAC, and tiling tasks, supervise maintenance staff, and maintain safety and quality standards across AMC properties.

Qualifications

• Supervisory maintenance experience in all trades including plumbing, electrical, painting, HVAC and tiling.
• Shows up to work on time and follows directions.
• Able to respond to emergencies and weekend work.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Participates in daily team meetings to outline priorities for the day with the Community Director.
• Handles or delegates resident maintenance requests with notes of service provided.
• Walks vacant units with the Community Director to assess damages and schedule turnover maintenance.
• Performs turn maintenance on vacant apartments within 7 days.
• Performs technical repairs and preventative maintenance on interior/exterior amenities (e.g., painting, fixtures, HVAC, tiling).
• Addresses resident concerns with exceptional service and communicates status to office staff.
