Job summary

Cal-Am Properties, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform maintenance duties and prepare vacancies to market-ready status at our Arizona communities. Schedule is Monday–Friday with weekend on-call rotation as needed.

The role supports property needs and emergencies, ensuring high-quality maintenance standards across communities. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, resident requests, and coordination with Maintenance Supervisor to manage inventory and special projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum Education: High School or GED.
• Minimum Experience: 1 Year.
• Preferred Field-of-Expertise: Plumbing, electrical, carpeting, painting experience, EPA certifiable status.

Responsibilities

• Prepares or assists in preparing all vacancies to a market-ready condition.
• Performs various community maintenance functions and records findings in the maintenance log.
• Responds to resident service requests and concerns in a timely manner.
• Performs emergency service, as required.
• Reports maintenance concerns for repairs on vacant, models, clubhouse, and/or common areas.
