Job summary

Cal-Am Properties, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform maintenance tasks and prepare vacancies for market-ready condition. You will work with the maintenance staff to uphold quality standards across our communities and respond to service requests in a timely manner.

The standard schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with occasional weekend on-call rotation to support property needs or emergencies.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• General maintenance experience required.
• EPA certifiable status preferred.
• Valid driver's license with good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Prepares vacancies to market-ready condition.
• Performs maintenance tasks: light bulbs, caulking, painting, HVAC, pool, preventive maintenance.
• Responds to resident service requests promptly.
• Reports maintenance issues to the Maintenance Supervisor.
• Maintains maintenance inventory and supplies.
• Assists in special maintenance projects and building components upkeep.
• Keeps grounds and common areas clean and free of debris.
• Maintains open communication with management and staff.
