Estrella at Seminary Apartments is currently seeking a Maintenance Assistant to ensure the maintenance and upkeep of the building and grounds through routine procedures and special work orders.

Responsibilities include completing work orders promptly, performing apartment make-ready tasks, diagnosing HVAC and plumbing issues, maintaining pool equipment, and supporting general property upkeep. This role is ideal for a dependable, proactive team member who can handle a variety of maintenance tasks.

Qualifications

• HVAC knowledge, furnaces and plumbing basics.
• Experience with apartment maintenance, make-ready processes and work order systems.

Responsibilities

• Complete maintenance work orders promptly and professionally.
• Perform apartment make-ready tasks and unit preparation.
• Diagnose and repair basic HVAC systems, furnaces, and AC units.
• Identify and fix plumbing issues such as leaks and minor pipe repairs.
• Maintain pool equipment and ensure safety standards.
• Assist with general property upkeep and preventative maintenance.
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests on a rotating on-call basis.
• Be dependable, proactive, and capable of handling various maintenance tasks.

• Perform apartment make-ready tasks, including repairs and unit preparation
• Diagnose and repair basic HVAC systems, furnaces, and air conditioning units
• Identify and fix plumbing issues such as leaks and minor pipe repairs
• Maintain pool equipment and ensure compliance with safety standards
• Assist with general property upkeep, including preventative maintenance
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests as part of an on-call rotation
• This position is ideal for someone who is dependable, proactive, and capable of handling a variety of maintenance tasks to keep the property running smoothly.

Requirements

• HVAC (EPA) certification preferred
• Pool certification preferred
• Basic knowledge of HVAC systems, furnaces, and plumbing
• Experience with apartment maintenance, make-ready processes, and work order systems
