Job summary

The Franklin Group in Charlottesville, VA is seeking a Leasing Consultant to show and lease apartments and support the community's marketing plan. The position is non-exempt (hourly) with a salary range of $14.69 to $24.00 per hour.

You will assist applicants with rental applications and deposits, prepare model apartments for showings, maintain clean work areas, follow lease terms and Fair Housing standards, and help develop resident retention programs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related experience or training.
• Knowledge of lease terms, properties policies and Fair Housing.
• Ability to communicate effectively and provide quality customer service.

Responsibilities

• Assist applicants with rental applications and deposits.
• Prepare model and target apartments for showings.
• Maintain clean and orderly work areas and office.
• Know lease terms, policies and Fair Housing standards.
• Develop and maintain resident retention programs.
• Process administrative forms and reports in a timely manner.
