Job summary

S.L. Nusbaum Realty Co. is seeking a Leasing Consultant for our Charlottesville community to welcome prospects, show apartments, and guide applicants through the leasing process.

You will conduct tours, run credit checks, prepare lease packets, and maintain positive resident relations while supporting the Community Manager to maximize occupancy and ensure excellent service. Hours align with community operations, including weekends as needed; benefits include PTO, holidays, health insurance,

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED.
• Some advanced real estate training, familiarity with landlord-tenant and Fair Housing laws, and prior leasing experience preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License (if operating a vehicle)

Responsibilities

• Abides by Fair Housing Laws.
• Provides tours of apartments to prospective residents.
• Runs credit reports on prospective residents.
• Prepares lease packets.
• Leases units.
• Maintains logs of traffic through the property.
• Provides information over the telephone to prospective residents.
• Maintains a visible public relations attitude toward current and prospective residents.
