Job summary

Burlington Capital Properties' Cottages of Henderson in Henderson, KY, is seeking a friendly Leasing Consultant to assist prospective residents and guide applicants through the leasing process. The successful candidate will communicate by phone, email, and in person, and showcase apartments to generate interest.

Responsibilities include conducting tours, presenting features, handling applications, and maintaining resident relationships.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service, sales, leasing, or office experience preferred.
• Strong telephone, email, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to schedule appointments and manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to conduct apartment tours and communicate the features and benefits.
• Ability to advertise and market available apartments.
• Basic math and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls and respond to emails from prospective and current residents promptly and professionally.
• Schedule and coordinate appointments, tours, and follow-up with prospective residents.
• Conduct tours of available apartments and community amenities.
• Present apartment features and benefits; guide applicants through the leasing process.
• Advertise available apartments and assist with marketing activities to generate interest.
• Qualify prospective residents and assist with applications and lease documents.
• Prepare documentation and complete move-in procedures.
• Maintain records and perform leasing and resident services tasks.
• Communicate with current residents about renewals and rates.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain positive relationships.
• Participate in resident events and community activities as requested.
• Follow up with prospective residents to support occupancy goals.
• Maintain a professional, welcoming office and community environment.
• Attend staff meetings and contribute to property success.
