Western States Lodging & Management is hiring a friendly Leasing Agent in Syracuse, UT. This entry-level position trains you in apartment leasing, resident relations, and property operations. You'll learn from an experienced team and receive guidance to develop essential skills for a career in multifamily housing.

Starting pay is $18–$20 per hour, plus benefits and growth opportunities. This role focuses on tours, inquiries, applications, screenings, and delivering outstanding customer service

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 0-1 year of customer service, sales, hospitality, retail, or related experience.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Ability to multitask, stay organized, and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer proficiency, including email and word processing applications.
• Willingness to learn and accept coaching from supervisors.
• Previous leasing or apartment industry experience.
• Basic knowledge of Fair Housing laws and rental housing regulations.
• Experience with property management software such as Yardi or similar platforms.

Responsibilities

• Welcome prospective residents and provide professional tours of available apartments and community amenities.
• Respond to leasing inquiries by phone, email, and in person.
• Assist applicants with completing rental applications and lease documentation.
• Conduct credit and background screenings in accordance with company policies.
• Maintain accurate records of leasing activity, applications, and resident files.
• Answer resident questions and direct service requests appropriately.
• Assist with marketing efforts to promote community occupancy.
• Support the property management team with daily administrative responsibilities.
• Deliver outstanding customer service throughout every resident interaction.
