Fortis Property Management in Myrtle Beach is seeking a Leasing Consultant to lease apartments at The Parker and achieve strong rent levels while delivering exceptional resident service. The role supports the community’s leasing goals with a focus on showings, prospect follow-up, and accurate documentation.

Responsibilities include presenting properties, quoting rents, processing applications, preparing leases, and maintaining renewal programs.

Qualifications

• Prior leasing or sales experience preferred.
• Proficiency with property management software (Yardi, RealPage, MRI, AppFolio).
• Strong computer skills including Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Show apartments
• Provide information to prospects via telephone and personal visits
• Accurately quote prices
• Follow up on prospects
• Thorough knowledge of the immediate market and all comparable properties
• Thorough knowledge of the surrounding community
• Ensure all necessary application paperwork is obtained from prospects
• Provide superior customer service
• Collect money (deposits, rents, etc.)
• Prepare and review leases for accuracy
• Maintain effective and aggressive lease renewal program
• Inspect apartments for readiness
• Adherence to and proper implementation of all Fortis Properties Management policies and procedures
• Distribute move-in packages
• Other duties as delegated
