Job summary

Adara Communities in Prestonwood is seeking an experienced Apartment Maintenance Technician to lead maintenance staff, oversee service requests, and coordinate make-readies and upgrades across 156 units. The role requires a minimum of two years in multifamily maintenance and an HVAC certification.

The ideal candidate will hold a valid driver’s license, bring personal hand tools, and be willing to participate in on-call rotations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of maintenance experience in multifamily housing.
• HVAC certification is required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Personal set of basic hand tools.
• Proven ability to coach, train, and lead service technicians.
• Strong organizational, troubleshooting, and time-management skills.
• Willingness to participate in on-call rotation.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus but not required.
• Candidates must live within a 20-mile radius or be willing to relocate.

What You’ll Do as an Apartment Maintenance Technician:

What We’re Looking for in the Apartment Maintenance Technician:

Working Environment of the Apartment Maintenance Technician:

This role requires regular physical activity, including standing, walking, sitting, lifting, climbing, stooping, kneeling, and reaching. Team members must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. individually and up to 100 lbs. with assistance.

Most work occurs in an outdoor environment, with occasional off-site tasks as needed. All employees must adhere to the company’s uniform policy, provided on the first day of employment.
